What is Driver Knowledge Test (DKT)?
DKT is the prime stage in the licensing process to procure a Learner’s Driving License. The test, administered by the NSW Police Force (NSWPF), assesses the driver’s knowledge of safe driving and road rules.
The DKT is a two-hour computerized test that assesses even your vehicle safety and road signs and markings knowledge.
At Safe Skill Sydney Driving School, our skilled driving instructors will guide you through how you must clear the test on your 1st attempt.
What must you do to pass the DKT test?
You should know that there will be 45 questions asked in the DKT test. Among them, 15 would be general questions and the remaining 30 would be road rules and safety questions. Instructors at Safe Skill Sydney Driving School can give you deep insights on how you should prepare before you go for the practical driving lessons.
You can even download the DKT app on your mobile phone Apple or Android for practicing.

The book that you must refer to prepare for DKT!
The book that will give you all detailed rules and regulations data to read from is the Road User Handbook.
You can get a PDF of the book or even an eBook. Moreover, for the immigrants applying for the license, the book is even available in many languages viz. Japanese, Spanish, Turkish, etc.
